In town

Dracon felt so bad that he followed and said, "I am so sorry. I did not mean to hurt Medwin. Is there anything I can do to help you?"

"No, Dracon." Felicity put a hand on his shoulder. "I can handle this. Thank you, though, for asking." She knelt by Medwin and healed him with Light magic.

"So, he knows you have Light magic. He probably thinks you have Animal, too, since you talk to me."

"But I don't, Medwin."

"No? Then what do you have?"

"It's opposite."

"Nature? Really?"

Felicity nodded shyly. Turning back to Dracon, she said, "Apology accepted."

Dracon really did not notice that Felicity healed Medwin. He was looking down and feeling realy guilty about what had happened to Medwin. He said "Ok, um... ... ... will... ... I... ...um... ... still... ... be... ... able... ... to see you?" Dracon felt bad for asking that so he just turned around and walked away.

"Dracon!" Felicity grabbed his arm. "How do you expect me to answer you if you walk away? This was a test, of sorts. You following means that you care about Medwin, and what happens to him. You've built my trust." Before he could get too excited, she added, "A little."

Dracon felt her grasp and turned around. He felt better when she said 'You following means that you care about Medwin, and what happens to him. You've built my trust.' Dracon looked in to Felicity's eyes and said, "Thanks and I am really sorry for what happend to Medwin. I did not mean for anything to happen to him. If my blast did not get all of the guys and they started after Medwin 'cause he was a wolf and they might have thought that he was weak, no offense, but I would have protected him with my life." Dracon after he said that he looked over at Medwin and then back into Felicity's eyes. Dracon wanted to walk away but he wanted to know what she would say so he stayed.

Felicity let go of Dracon. "Thanks."

Medwin moved from where he was and put his forepaws on Dracon's shoulders. He licked the elf before jumping back to the ground. "Thanks."

Felicity told Dracon what Medwin said. "I mean no offense, but I do have to get going now. I've got some work to do."

Medwin sniffed the air. "Something or someone is coming."

Felicity strained her ears. "You're right. Dracon, we must go. I'll see you later."

They disappeared into the surrounding trees, leaving Dracon alone.

Dracon wondered why she left in a hurry, but decided he would find out later. He headed to work to tell them that he took care of the guys and said he will take a bit off 'cause he was wore out. Then he headed home and laid down, wondering when he will meet Felicity again.
